Door-to-Door Census Takers in Bethel Township - What to Expect

On September 1, 2020, the first report of door-to-door Census takers in Bethel Township was reported. After confirming with the Census Bureau, residents should be advised that Census takers will be visiting homes that have not yet responded to the 2020 Census. Census takers work between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, including weekends. If someone visits your home to collect information for the 2020 Census, residents should first make sure they have a valid ID badge with their photograph, a US Department of Commerce watermark, and an expiration date. Census workers may also be carrying Census Bureau bags and other equipment with the Census Bureau logo. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or uncertain if the person at your door is a Census taker, residents are encouraged to dial 911.
