The 2020 Census counts every person living in the United States and five U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). The count is mandated by the Constitution and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, a nonpartisan government agency, every 10 years. By responding to the Census, you are helping the government determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year! The help doesn't end there, though. Census data helps shape community goals, Comprehensive Plans, and programming for the community.
To do your part, respond to the 2020 United States Census at this link. On behalf of Bethel Township, we thank you for your participation in the US Census!
