Beginning Friday, September 11th, 2020 the Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board will be hosting the 2020 Chalk Your Walk Contest, transforming Bethel Township with vibrant colors and works of chalk art.
This contest is open to individual artists and groups of 2-3 artists from 2nd Grade through 12th Grade. Artists should create a 4’ x 6’ chalk artwork on their sidewalk or driveway that fits one of our themes, Sports OR Fall Fun, for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card to a local Bethel Business.
Artists will be judged in the following age groups:
Submissions from groups of 2 to 3 artists will be accepted and will be judged in the category of the oldest artist. Two winners will be selected from each category (one for each theme) and one “Best in Show” winner will be selected.
Winners are selected based on the number of “likes” they receive on the Township’s Facebook and Instagram pages. The “Best in Show” winner will be the artist with the most overall likes. Each artist is only eligible for one prize.
