Parks and Recreation Board 2020 Chalk Your Walk Contest - Closes for Submissions this Sunday, September 27th!

The Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board is hosting the 2020 Chalk Your Walk Contest, transforming Bethel Township with vibrant colors and works of chalk art.

This contest is open to individual artist and groups of 2-3 artists from 2nd Grade through 12th Grade. Artists should create a 4' x 6' chalk artwork on their sidewalk or driveway that fits on of our themes, Sports OR Fall Fun, for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card to a local Bethel Business.

Artists will be judged in the following age groups:

Submissions from groups of 2 or 3 artists will be accepted and will be judged in the category of the oldest artist. Tow winners will be selected from each category (one for each theme) and one "Best in Show" winner will be selected. Winners are selected based on the number of "likes" they receive on the Township's Facebook and Instagram pages. The "Best in Show" winner will be the artist with the most overall likes. Special Trash and Recycling Events this Weekend

Bethel Township E-Recycling Event - September 26th, 2020

On Saturday, September 26th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Bethel Township will be hosting the second, and final, E-Recycling Event for 2020. This event is for Bethel Township Residents only, and ID's will be required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, residents will be instructed to show their ID through the glass of their driver's-side window. Residents will then be instructed to pop the trunk of their car, where B & L Disposal Employees will remove the e-waste for recycling. State Representative Stephen Barrar's Paper Shredding and Drug Take-Back - September 26th, 2020

State Representative Stephen Barrar will be hosting a Drive Thru Shredding and Drug Take-Back Event on Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event will take place at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Road, Glen Mills, PA 19432. Residents looking to participate in this event are asked to wear masks when speaking with staff and to remain in their vehicles at all time. Also, please refrain from parking in parking spots.
