The Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board consists of 9 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors each serving five (5) year terms. The Board has the authority to equip, supervise, and maintain park and recreation facilities within the Township. The Parks and Recreation Board assists the Township in planning a number of events for Township residents each year including the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Movie Night, Corn Boil, Trunk or Treat, Lunch with Santa, and more. The Planning Commission’s responsibility is to assure compliance with local building and zoning ordinances, comprehensive plans, sub-divisions, and land development codes, and ensure compliance with Pennsylvania's Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).
