Public Health policy remains an important priority of the Board of Supervisors. The mission of the Health Department is to serve the residents of Bethel Township through the administration and enforcement of regulatory ordinances adopted by the Board of Supervisors to assure the health, safety, and welfare of our community.

Bethel Township Health Officer is responsible for inspecting and approving licenses for all eating and drinking establishments, retail food stores, and public schools in the township. The Health Officer provides food safety training tips to food handlers during on site inspections.
