The Parks and Recreation Board is comprised of nine members who serve five-year terms and are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Board assists the Township in planning a number of events for Township residents each year including the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Movie Night, Corn Boil, Lunch with Santa, and the Annual Tree Lighting.

The Planning Commission is comprised of seven members who serve four-year terms and are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors to review subdivision and land development plans. The Planning Commission’s responsibility is to assure compliance with local building and zoning ordinances, comprehensive plans, sub-divisions, and land development codes, and ensure compliance with Pennsylvania's Municipalities Planning Code.

The Bethel Township Police Department is a group of public service employees appointed by the Board of Supervisors. All are sworn law enforcement officers who meet the standards of the Municipal Police Officers Training Act and are subject to Pennsylvania law. Staffing is met through a management team, which includes a chief, detective sergeant, sergeant, corporal, and is supported by approximately 20 patrol officers.
