🚧 PennDOT Oil & Chip Road Work – Starting May 4th 

PennDOT will be applying a layer of liquid asphalt (oil) followed by small stones (chips) to help preserve and extend the life of the roadway. During and shortly after this process, loose gravel will be present on the road.

⚠️ What to expect & safety tips:
• Slow down and use caution when driving
• Do not follow too closely — loose gravel can kick up and crack windshields
• Avoid sudden stops or sharp turns
• Be mindful of workers and equipment in the area
• If possible, consider alternate routes during active work
