Appliances & Furniture 

Large items such as furniture, mattresses, and similar household items may be disposed of with regular trash collection. Residents are permitted one (1) bulk item per week, per household, at no additional cost, unless otherwise noted. Please review the sections below for additional requirements.

Mattresses

Due to the risk of bed bugs, mattresses and box springs must be enclosed in mattress bags in order to be picked up. Mattress bags are available for purchase at major retails such as Lowes and Home Depot. 

Refrigerators, Freezers, and Air Conditioners

Residents must contact Opdenaker Customer Service to schedule a bulk pickup like Refrigerators, freezers, hot water heaters, etc., at 610-459-3515.
This service is subject to an additional cost. Items that contain FREON must be disclosed at the time of scheduling and require special handling .
